Adam, editor in chief at JOMH, has been our biggest supporter from the very beginning. He's served as a wonderful mentor for our business, and been unreasonably generous with his praise of our meals + snacks. Can't wait to see this coffee table worthy magazine in print!
The image you see above is the cover of the premiere issue of our new bi-annual print publication and represents the culmination of everything we've been working towards over the past three years.
This is a hunting publication unlike anything else on the market. At 150+ pages printed on premium paper stock with less than 20 pages of advertising, this print edition blurs the lines between magazine, coffee table book and academic journal.
Inside the premiere issue you'll find eye-popping imagery, exclusive in-depth articles and stories from around the world and a game-changing representation of what it means to be a hunter in the 21st Century.
The print JOMH is dedicated to showing the world that hunting matters more than ever before. To sharing the adventure, effort and emotions of the pursuit, and the deep connection to Nature that only the hunter truly knows. To showing the masses that hunting is not the senseless and disrespectful blood sport many would claim it to be. To changing the narrative of what it means to be a modern hunter.
This is who we are. This is what we do. This is why we do it.
As of today our first print issue is available for pre-order. The magazine itself will ship in mid-July and arrive at your door step before August 1st. Between today and July 12th at 11:59 PST we are running a pre-order contest featuring a number of incredible prizes:
• One fully guided 2018 New Zealand Tahr or Chamois hunt with Hard Yards Hunting NZ
• One full Sitka system to be custom built and selected by the winner

• One pair of Schnee's boots to be selected by the winner
Anyone that purchases an issue of the new print edition will automatically be entered in the draw to win one of the above prizes. Four separate winners will be selected by random draw shortly after the contest closing date.
Since the launch of the digital magazine three years ago, we have felt strongly that there was a much broader and deeper narrative to be told about why we hunt. The whole notion of "beyond the kill" is planted firmly in this belief and in this print edition we have endeavoured to show the world that hunting is here to stay.
That what we believe matters. That what we do as conservationists matters. That the social, cultural and environmental impact of hunting matters. This is our mission.
